Bots, copy trading and trading costs at Apex Trader Funding
- "No Automation or Algorithm Usage allowed": rewards are meant for human traders, not automated systems executing preprogrammed logic.
- High-frequency trading and any exploitation of the simulated environment are prohibited, as is non-directional bracket trading.
- No hedging of any kind: long and short on the same or correlated instruments at the same time is prohibited.
- Copy trading across your own Performance Accounts is allowed, under your personal and your business name.
- All copied accounts must trade in the same direction and not hedge correlated assets.
- Sharing computers, IPs or trade copying with other traders is strictly forbidden.
- Up to 20 active Performance Accounts per household (people, companies and connections combined).
Not yet confirmed by Apex Trader Funding: Does the ban on automation also apply in the Apex live program? We're asking the firm and will update this section when it answers in writing.
