Privacy policy

This policy explains what personal data PropLens (https://proplens.trading) processes, why, and your rights under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR, Regulation (EU) 2016/679) and applicable national law.

Who is responsible

The data controller is Tommaso Signoroni, Via Carlo Bonardi 58/B, 25049 Iseo (BS), Italy. Contact: info@proplens.trading.

The short version

  • No account, no login, no advertising, no tracking or profiling.
  • Your preferences (theme, favourites, comparison, account options) are stored only in your own browser.
  • We only receive personal data if you choose to write to us.

What we process

Preferences stored in your browser. The site saves your choices — light/dark theme, favourite accounts, accounts selected for comparison, the options picked on each account, budget and return assumptions, and your cookie choice — in your browser's local storage. This information never leaves your device and we cannot see it. You can delete it at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser.

Server logs. Like any website, the hosting provider that serves the pages automatically receives technical data needed to deliver them and keep them secure: IP address, date and time, requested page, browser type and referring page. These logs are kept for a limited period by the hosting provider for security and troubleshooting. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in operating a secure website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Hosting provider: Cloudflare, Inc. (San Francisco, USA), which acts as our data processor; transfers outside the EEA rely on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and Standard Contractual Clauses.

Messages you send us. If you suggest a missing prop firm, report wrong data or contact us by email, we process what you send — the message, the page you sent it from, any link you add and, only if you choose to give it, your email address — solely to check the data, evaluate the suggestion and, if you asked, reply. We delete it when it is no longer needed for that, and at the latest after 12 months. Legal basis: your request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and our legitimate interest in keeping the site accurate (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). The forms are delivered to us by Web3Forms (Web3Creative, India), which acts as our data processor under its Data Processing Agreement, with Standard Contractual Clauses for transfers outside the EEA. It runs on Amazon Web Services, Cloudflare and Hetzner, and may check the sender's IP address and email address with the spam filters CleanTalk and Akismet. We set its storage of the messages to the shortest period it allows.

Visit statistics. To know which pages are useful, we count visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics (Cloudflare, Inc., our hosting provider). It sets no cookies, doesn't use your browser's storage and doesn't build a profile of you or follow you across sites: it records anonymous, aggregated figures such as page views, the referring site, the country and the type of device. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in knowing how the site is used (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

What we don't do

We don't use advertising or social-media tracking, we don't use cookies to track you, and we don't sell or share personal data. Fonts and icons are served from our own server, so loading a page doesn't send your data to font providers such as Google Fonts. If we ever add tools that need your consent, they will only run after you accept them in the cookie notice, and this policy will be updated first.

Links to prop firms and other sites

Pages link to prop firms' websites, Trustpilot and other third parties. Some links to prop firms are affiliate links: if you buy through them we may earn a commission, which never affects scores or rankings. When you follow a link, the destination site may set its own cookies (including affiliate tracking cookies) and process your data under its own privacy policy — PropLens has no control over that.

Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify and erase your personal data, to restrict or object to its processing, and to data portability. To exercise them, write to info@proplens.trading. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority — in Italy, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (garanteprivacy.it) — or the authority where you live or work.

Children

PropLens is intended for adults interested in trading. It is not directed at children under 18.
